Two Shows. One Weekend.

Wow, Halloween is here, and we are excited about our two night run at Papa Petes in Kalamazoo, MI this weekend. Friday night will feature Covert all night long. Saturday we have Me3Mind getting the festivities started for us. Two great nights, one great location, what a weekend!

Covert Acoustic at The Magic Bag!

What a great night of music this was, and the crowd was full of Magic Bag energy from beginning to end. BIG thanks goes out to Greensky Bluegrass for having us out as openers for the night. We all had a great time with going acoustic. Bob Weir was born on October 16th, 1947, and with a set peppered with Grateful Dead covers, it was a great celebration had by all.
Another BIG Thank You goes to our good friend Z-Man who was in attendance that night. He arrived and setup just in time to start recording only a few seconds after the first song started. It is tapers like Z-Man who give so much back to the community, they truly help the music live forever.

Covert Operations Live at Elbo Room - Chicago, IL on 2009-03-28
This night was Covert's second appearance in the Windy City, and we had some of our close friends from our Michigan family out to support us. The set was streamed live over the Internet via web cam, which was a great treat for those who couldn't make it out. Chicago3Media.com sent their top reporter Mary Jane out to do a video interview, and believe me, some of the funniest stuff was edited out! There is also a video of the guys goofing off that they sent to us too.
